We received a shipment of Hering Harmonicas from Brazil several months ago. We have put them into inventory and what we have is probably the best inventory of Hering harmonicas in North America. We also have an extensive inventory of Hohner, Lee Oskar, Soul's Voice, and Suzuki harmonicas. We will fill orders quickly and we plan to place new orders every couple of weeks. Prices reflect the most recent price lists and MSRP's from Hohner, Suzuki, Hering, and Lee Oskar, which we then discount deeply.
Why all the price increases? Basically, the fault lies with the progressively weakening dollar and the poor economy. Get ready for our economy to possibly go into high inflation, like it did in the 1970's, where one was losing purchasing power, without spending money, due to the inflationary increases in prices.
This is relevant beause my manufacturing cost for the Soul's Voice harmonicas and reedplates has just recently gone up substantially. So, if you like Soul's Voice, buy now from my inventory, the cost of which is still based on the old costs of manufacture! When we sell out of them we will be increasing the prices accordingly.
For you Soul's Voice enthusiasts, please note that our parent company, Buckeye Trading, has purchased all the rights to the Soul's Voice from Bushman Music. The factory in Germay is now talking about price increases coming soon! Therefore, if you have been thinking about purchasing a Soul's Voice, do it before the price increases. On the positive side, we will be receiving reedplates during the next several months and Buckeye Trading has committed itself to strong support of the Soul's Voice. I was also disappointed to discover that the manufacturer no longer makes individual blow or draw plates. They will only do reedplate sets with both blow and draw plate in the set. The good news is that I have ordered complete reedplate sets for all keys, and these will be coming in soon. Watch our websites for their arrival.
The Soul's Voices listed on this page are here to celebrate Doc's acquisition of the Soul's Voice from Bushman Music. The Delta Frost is here to sell out. Doc and John Hall agreed to split the marketing on John's Bushman harmonicas. As a result, Doc acquired the Soul's Voice, which Doc will focus on marketing. John will focus his marketing on the Delta Frost. Bushman will no longer be marketing Soul's Voice and Doc will no longer market Delta Frost, after he sells out of Delta Frost. We hope that the marketing of both harmonicas will benefit from this arrangement.
